The hotel was fairly clean and homey, had amiable staff and beautiful rooms. The breakfast with good quality ingredients was wonderful and amazing for what you got. The venue's location was stunning and brilliant, close enough to local attractions and restaurants, pubs, eateries, shops and the top entrance to Shanklin Chine and the village centre and the beach. I found Carvery Restaurant offering shots and different drinks 1 km of the venue.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. the location was very convenient, only a short walk to the town center and attractions. the homemade jam was a nice touch.
the common spaces were not pointed out to us either, and we only saw them when another guest came out of the lounge. while the experience was satisfactory, there was definitely room for improvement in terms of hospitality and communication.
